Ray Bradbury, the fantasy author who penned classic novels such as Fahrenheit 451 and The Martian Chronicles , passed away last night after a long illness. I remember reading Fahrenheit 451 and how much it spoke to me. I read it during a phase where I only wanted to read the classics, although I found them rather dry, and Fahrenheit 451 is by far one my favorite books from that period. He was 91 when he died, so he lived a long life and was able to be appreciated as an author while he lived. He will be missed, although his genius lives on in his novels.
